Habitat for Artists @ Kingston Artport

Taino Spirts was a multi-day micro-residency with the Habitat for Artists project hosted by Kingston Artport. The project was an ephemeral graffiti project on temporary Habitat structure in which I used as my studio for the duration. Drawing on Kingston, NY's large population of Puerto Ricans as my inspiration, I emblazoned the structure on all side, both inside and out, with Taino symbols of our ancestral Cemi (spirits) and gold leaf as a tribute to the local Boricua community.
